We ship locally and internationally from Singapore. We use SingPost as our mailing carrier service.

[[Post Office Mailings Schedules]
Twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursday.
*Orders received on Tuesdays will be scheduled for Thursdays mailings; Orders received on Thursdays will be scheduled for Tuedays mailings.
**If a public holiday falls on either of the mailing days, mailing will be made one day before or after the standard mailing schedules.

 

[Turnaround Time/Lead Time]
+ Please check the Turnaround time page for different turnaround schedules for different categories of products. This page will be updated regularly to reflect as closely to our actual work schedule.

[Order Schedule - for Made-to-Order Finished Products Only]
+ Upon payment, your order will be scheduled to be made according to our current work schedule slot. Please visit Order Schedule page for your order schedule.
** Made-To-Order - Most of our handmade products (unless stated as Ready-Made) are made-to-order. Regret that once order is confirmed, cancelation is not allowed; some modifications such as color changes are allowed if your order is not yet made - refer to the order schedule for the allocated dates to make your order.

[Non-Shipping/Delivery Period]
+ Please check the Vacation Notice page for non-shipping schedule. During this period, there will be no delivery/shipping to be arranged as we are out of town. Electronic delivery schedule may or may not be affected depending on the internet accessibility of the places we are traveling to.

[Festive Season Shipping]
+ Delivery will be arranged within 7 working days (or more, depending on the quantity of your order) for handcrafted products during festive season, i.e. Christmas (November to December)
+ Please add 3-5 days to the standard shipping transit time for all orders, due to high shipping schedule of most carriers.

[Free shipping - Domestic Only]
+ Order above S$80 will be entitled to free local shipping using Registered Article (RA) service at checkout.
+ Order above S$200 will complimentary upgrade to door-to-door local courier service (delivery on weekend and public holiday is available).
+ Consignment number is assigned for tracking for registered mails and local courier service.
+ Not applicable to wedding favors, wholesale, and customized bulk orders.
+ Delivery will be arranged within 3* business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Maximum weight: 2kg, thereafter the shipping price will show an inaccurate amount. Buyers may either make separate purchases under 2kg for each purchase (orders will be packed separately to meet the requirement by SingPost); or to select courier services.
+ Not to be used to offset shipping cost of other shipping methods - local courier etc, and not exchangeable for cash.
+ Order(s) paid with paypal eCheque will only ship after the eCheque is cleared (usually 7-14 days, depending on bank's terms); orders are subject to cancelation if the items purchased have limited storck inventory and required by another buyer.

[TaQBin courier service]
+ For time sensitive packages, and deliveries on weekend and public holidays.
+ Requires a signature to receive, therefore P.O. box is not allowed.
+ Consignment number is assigned for tracking.
+ Pick-up booking will be arranged within 1 business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Delivery schedule is in accordance with courier service provider's booking cut-off time, which determines the delivery time schedule.
+ Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate; and make sure that the shipping address matches with the address in the paypal payment page (if this is the selected payment method).
+ Order(s) paid with paypal eCheque will only ship after the eCheque is cleared (usually 7-14 days, depending on bank's terms); orders are subject to cancelation if the items purchased have limited storck inventory and required by another buyer.

[Ordinary Mail - Domestic & International]
+ Ordinary Mail is cost-effective.
+ Suitable for lower value packages.
+ Non-traceable, buyer agrees to accept all risks if choosing this shipping method; we regret that we will not entertain queries pertaining to deliveries made through ordinary mails.
+ Mails will be delivered to your mailbox; or to your door if the package cannot fit into your mailbox.
+ Delivery will be arranged within 3* business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Maximum weight: 2kg, thereafter the shipping price will show an inaccurate amount. Buyers may either make separate purchases under 2kg for each purchase (orders will be packed separately to meet the requirement by SingPost); or to select Speedpost services.
+ Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate; and that the shipping address matches with the address in the paypal payment page (if this is the selected payment method).

[Certificate of Posting]
From 02 October 2012 onwards, all orders using Ordinary Mail option are accompanied with a Certificate of Posting. It is not a warranty or insurance, it is a slip bearing the recipient's shipping address, date of mailing, and the stamp of acceptance by the post office. The post office does not keep record of the certificate, it is only a proof that the package is presented at the post office counter for mailing. It is also the proof that we will provide in an unfortunate event of dispute.

[Registered Article (RA) Service - Domestic & International]
+ Registered Article (RA) service is recommended at all times, as we will not be liable once the package leaves our care to the carrier.
+ Requires a signature to receive, P.O. box is not recommended, please check with your post office if it accepts RA.
+ Consignment number is assigned, however, package status is only available when receiver's local post office updates the records.
+ Delivery will be arranged within 3* business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Maximum weight: 2kg, thereafter the shipping price will show an inaccurate amount. Buyers may either make separate purchases under 2kg for each purchase (orders will be packed separately to meet the requirement by SingPost); or to select Speedpost services.
+ Limited indemity up to S$68.00.
+ Additional insurance may be purchased at last stage of checkout. (not available to shipment to USA, Spain, Indonesia, UK and some other countires - buyer may proceed to purchase the insurance, if service is unavailable in buyer's country, the fee will be refunded to buyers and the package will ship without insurance.)
+ Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate; and that the shipping address matches with the address in the paypal payment page (if this is the selected payment method).
+ Order(s) paid with paypal eCheque will only ship after the eCheque is cleared (usually 7-14 days, depending on bank's terms); orders are subject to cancelation if the items purchased have limited storck inventory and required by another buyer.

[Registered Surface (RA) Service - International Only]
+ Registered surface (RA) mail is the most cost effective amongst all shipping methods.
+ Requires a signature to receive, P.O. box is not recommended, please check with your post office if it accepts RA.
+ Consignment number is assigned, however, package status is only available when receiver's local post office updates the records.
+ Limited indemity up to S$68.00.
+ Delivery will be arranged within 1-3* business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Maximum weight: 2kg, thereafter the shipping price will show an inaccurate amount. Buyers may either make separate purchases under 2kg for each purchase (orders will be packed separately to meet the requirement by SingPost); or to select Speedpost services.
+ Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate; and that the shipping address matches with the address in the paypal payment page (if this is the selected payment method).
+ Surface mail takes from 6 to 19 weeks to arrive (refer to transit time url below for a more accurate estimate on the transit time to your destination)

[Speedpost Surface Parcel - International Only]
+ Email for quote - due to different zonal pricing, please contact us with the a) items; b) shipping address, and we will revert with a quote.
+ Speedpost surface parcel service is a cost effective method to ship bulk order, such as yarns in large quantity.
+ Requires a signature to receive, therefore P.O. box is not allowed.
+ Consignment number is assigned for tracking.
+ Limited indemity up to S $90.00.
+ Additional insurance may be purchased.
+ Delivery will be arranged within 1-3* business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Maximum weight: 20-30kg (most countries allow up to 30kg)
+ Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate; and make sure that the shipping address matches with the address in the paypal payment page (if this is the selected payment method).
+ Surface parcel takes from 6 to 17 weeks to arrive (refer to transit time url below for a more accurate estimate on the transit time to your destination)
+ Order(s) paid with paypal eCheque will only ship after the eCheque is cleared (usually 7-14 days, depending on bank's terms); orders are subject to cancelation if the items purchased have limited storck inventory and required by another buyer.

[Speedpost Air Parcel - International Only]
+ Email for quote - due to different zonal pricing, please contact us with the a) items; b) shipping address, and we will revert with a quote.
+ Speedpost air parcel service offers reasonable price yet high in reliability.
+ Requires a signature to receive, therefore P.O. box is not allowed.
+ Consignment number is assigned for tracking.
+ Limited indemity up to S$90.00.
+ Additional insurance may be purchased.
+ Delivery will be arranged within 1-3* business days upon receipt/clearance of payment.
+ Maximum weight: 20-30kg (most countries allow up to 30kg)
+ Please make sure that the shipping address is accurate; and make sure that the shipping address matches with the address in the paypal payment page (if this is the selected payment method).
+ Air parcel takes 6 to 14 business days to arrive (refer to transit time url below for a more accurate estimate on the transit time to your destination)

[Shipping Insurance]
+ Additional shipping insurance for registered mail to most destinations is available at minimum S$5.00 (available at last stage of checkout).
+ Insurance is only available for registered mail, speedpost surface parcel, and speedpost air parcel.
+ Insurance is subject to availability the country you are shipping to, and often the information is only made available to us over the counter. In the event that the country you are shipping your order to does not accept insurance but you have purchased and paid for the service, we will ship using Registered Article (RA) service and refund the insurance fee to your account.
+ Minimum requirement to insure shipment to USA, United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Spain is Speedpost Surface Parcel and Speedpost Air Parcel, please select Speedpost Surface Parcel (insured), or Speedpost Air Parcel (insured) option as shipping mode.
+ Standard insurance coverage for registered mail is at S$1.00 : S$100.
+ SpeedPost air/surface parcel coverage is 3% of the declared value on the consignment note and shipping invoice, subject to a minimum of S$20 per shipment. The maximum insured value per shipment is S$20,000. Our shipping table for insurance purchase is calculated with S$20, if your total invoice value exceeds S$6600, additional fee based on 3% of your order value will be added to your order.

[Express Shipping]

[Crochet Pattern Delivery]
+ Crochet pattern is delivered via email within 24 hrs upon receipt of payment.
+ File is sent to the email address provided on checkout page, unless requested otherwise.
+ Patterns are created with generous spread of photo illustrations that result in large file size - up to 5MB, be sure that your email handler allows large attachment files to be received.
+ Check spam/junk folder for the email; at times, mails may end up in the spam folder.
+ Add sales [at] simpleartsplanet [dot] com in your safe list.
+ All patterns are password protected with the your email address.
+ Pattern file is designed and created to be read on computer; support is unavailable for handheld device.
+ Non-receipt of PDF file must be informed to us within 3 days from date of transaction.
+ Buyers are responsible in keeping proper backup of the electronic copy of the pattern. We regret that we do not send the files again after the 3 days' grace period of non-receipt.
+ Pattern, in electronic copy is considered consumed once email is sent. Patterns are strictly non-refundable due to this reason.

[Customs and Import Duties for International Shipping]
International shipping may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are borne by buyers. We have no control over these charges and cannot estimate the amount. Shipping policies vary from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.

Simple Arts Planet (SAPLANET) is a legit business and is required by law to declare customs value accurately according to the order value, we regret that any request to amend/lower the declared value will be ignored.

[Returns and Exchanges]
+ We take pride in making and selling our products, only items that are fit for their intended use are sold on Simple Arts Planet online shop(s).
+ Made-To-Order - Most of our handmade products (unless stated as Ready-Made) are made-to-order. Regret that once order is confirmed, cancelation is not allowed; some modifications such as color changes are allowed if your order is not yet made - refer to the order schedule for the allocated dates to make your order.
+ Goods sold are not exchangeable or returnable.
+ If items received are damaged, please contact us by email immediately upon receipt of the item,
+ Only authorized returns will be dealt with, buyers are to send back the item in its original state as it was sent out.
+ Please do not send the package back to us before establishing prior contact with us. Unauthorized packages received will be returned to sender without prior notice.
+ Upon receipt of the item, we will assess and determine if it is genuinely seller's fault, once approved, a full fund less shipping cost will be refunded to buyers' paypal account or bank account; alternatively a replacement item will be sent.
+ Pattern, in electronic copy is considered consumed once email is sent. Patterns are strictly non-refundable or/and exchangeable due to this reason.

[Package Returned to Sender]
+ In the unlikely event that the package is returned to us due to error made by us, we will send the package out again at our expense;
+ However, if it is due to erroneous address provided by buyer, or absence to accept the package, we are happy to offer the following options:
1. Re-delivery - Postage* + paypal fee (S$0.50+3.9% of postage value)
2. Cancelation of order - Refund of product value, less 15% restocking fee, less original postage/handling fee
*Postage fee is subject to change according to post office/courier service current rates

[Lost Packages]
+ We are not liable once the package leaves our care.
+ We will assist in the claims for registered or/and insured packages; and we will assist to inquire on registered packages.

Registered Article:
As required by Singapore Post, please allow the following time frames before making Enquiry for each type of Registered Article:
a. Singapore to Overseas (Air), upon non-receipt after 18 working days from date of posting.
b. Singapore to Overseas (Surface), upon non-receipt after 8 weeks from date of posting.
c. Singapore to Singapore, upon non-receipt after 7-14 working days from date of posting.
Please contact us only if your non-receipt status meets the above time frames.

[Special Notice for Shipment(s) to the United States of America]

1. Apartment addresses - USPS has advised that the post office DOES NOT deliver to apartment addresses that do not display a name on the mailbox. Please note that we cannot be held responsible if the post office returns the package to sender due to this reason.

2. Due to heightened aviation security measures imposed on airlines flying into the United States from 18 November 2010, there may be potential air transportation capacity constraints resulting in delays. There may also be additional delays due to enhanced airline and customs screening of all items at Singapore and US.

 

International air mail service including registered articles and parcel items as well as Speedpost items from Singapore to United States may be subject to delays.
