After making more than 35 pairs of wedding dolls now, this is the first long awaited blonde wedding couple I have made. 

I could have just made them without getting an order for it, what can I tell you? I have been hoping to make myself the entire collection of my designs, and guess what mum said… ‘you don’t even have enough to eat, let alone talking about extra’. It took me a while to understand since mum said it in her dialect (I do understand Hokkien, but I must admit that I am only at the basic conversational level). What she meant was that when I don’t even have enough time to finish orders and come up with new designs, let alone thinking about making the entire collection for myself. What a nice metaphor. LOL

Every doll is unique to me, no matter how many units I have made, each and single of them is still special to me. 

One of my regular buyers who purchases my dolls in bulks, told me that the most important element that exists in my creations is that they all carry with them ‘happy’ feeling. They all look very happy. When I delivered the first batch of order to her, she asked, ‘Gosh, how on earth did you manage to make these, they are so tiny, and the stitches are so small.’ Before I could tell her more about crochet, she added, ‘Don’t tell me, I don’t to know about it, it’s scary just to think about it’. LOL.. That made me wonder if she actually wanted to know, or not?
