Featuring BeadyGirl in SAPlanet Wedding Resources Page
Published May 2nd, 2008 in +everything else, wedding items.I mentioned in post which I featured on Starry Designs, that both Starry Designs and BeadyGirl are the 2 first persons I thought of when I wanted to start the wedding resources page.
Not only that Cynthia of BeadyGirl is a skillful jewelry designer, she is also a personal friend of mine. I’ve known her long before we started crafting.
Needless to say, I watched and can testify for her skills being perfected gradually and steadily overtime. I have a couple of her works since she started her jewelry making journey.
I have invited her to be featured in my wedding page, not because she is a personal friend, but because I value her talents and creativity in jewelry making. She is the perfect candidate to be featured in my wedding page, since she is giving lessons to students who wish to learn to pick up the jewelry making skills.
I especially love her jewelry pieces made with peyote beads (really tiny beads!!), she made me one on my birthday some years ago, and that remains one of my favorite, except that I have put on weight, so it’s kind of ‘fitting’ now..LOL.
It takes quite a meticulous person and a pair of skillful hands to string all the little tiny beads into such a beautiful piece. She never fails to amaze me with her new products.
The items she has chosen for me to be featured are perfect too! I fell in love with her new Trilogy pendant the second I set my eyes on it. She has this amazing color senses, and the mysterious deep red gems are just perfect to go along with the off white beads that embrace the red gem. (Pardon me if I have gotten the names wrong, I am not exactly a jewelry person, I only know how to appreciate beautiful pieces, but I have nuts knowledge for the names)
Brides of today look out for uniqueness for their wedding, including the jewelry set they wear. I guess, if you are not going to make yourself one, it would be great to learn to make them and give them as gifts to your bridesmaid, and in-laws. I can only assure you that whenever we receive a handmade jewelry, it makes all the difference. Like I’ve said, Cynthia had made me several pieces, and each time, I feel touched, because I knew they were specially made for me.
Cynthia is never pinned to stagnant stage, her designs vary from casually elegant, classically simple, to elegantly elaborated. Just keep watch on her upcoming classes!
